Device Manager
• Used to check whether your hardware is properly
installed and working or not
• Allows you to update the device driver associated
with your hardware
• A device driver is a file(s) that are used to make the
hardware work with the operating system
• Device driver can be supplied by the OS or by the
device manufacturer.

 Activate, remove, change, or
extend a Windows license
Slmgr Command
Open Command Prompt and enter the desired slmgr
command.
Check activation status: enter slmgr /xpr
View license info: enter slmgr /dlv
Remove Windows Product Key: enter slmgr /cpky
Doing this will not delete the key from your computer or un-
activate Windows, but it will prevent key finder programs
and malicious tools from being able to retrieve the key.

 Disk Management
Allows you to create, delete, format partitions.
You cannot edit boot and system partitions
using disk management.
A boot partition is an active partition from
which the PC boots from.
A system partition is where the current OS is
installed on.

You can also see how many hard disks you
have in disk management
You can re-assign drive letters to partitions
and removable drives.

 2 Click to disk management

1 Right click to This PC

3 Right Click to disk to partition and click

shrink new volume

4 allocate amount of space for

the new volume

 4 right click to the new created
volume then select sample
volume

If you want to reverse the new created volume then right click on it
and click delete

Now it says unallocated then right click on the main disk select extend the volume

 Language text suggestions
Go to windows settings
Search for typing settings
From Hardware setting
Enable Show text suggestions as I type
Enable Automatic misspelled words as I type
