2. Scrubs nails of left hand 30 strokes and all skin surfaces 20 strokes using anatomic pattern as follows: (Remove) a. four surfaces of each finger, thumb to fifth finger b. over dorsal surface of hand, small finger to thumb

B. Time Method 1. Selects sterile brush or sponge, adding liquid cleanser if necessary 2. 2. Scrubs nails, fingers, hand and wrist of left arms for 1 minutes, using anatomic pattern outlined above.

3. Repeats for right nails, fingers, hand and wrist 4. Scrubs from the wrist to 2 inches above elbow, spending 1 minute on each arm.

3. Rinsing a. Rinses hands and arms, keeping hands above elbow b. Keeps hands in front, above the waist and not higher than the axilla, and move to location of sterile towels.
