MAINTAIN CULTURAL

SUSTAINABILITY :
PRESERVING CULTURAL
HERITAGE: BUILDING
INTERGENERATIONAL BRIDGES
Thesis
Cultural sustainability is a struggle that involves
sacrifice, care, and commitment. Cultural
heritage, from historical artifacts to cultural
practices that continue to be passed down, are
heirs to the past that form the foundation of our
identity. However, in the midst of modern
progress, we are faced with a big challenge to
ensure that this heritage is not eroded by the
flow of time. Why should we maintain the
preservation of our culture? This is what we will
discuss.
Argument
-Establishing Identity and Continuity:
Cultural heritage is the foundation of individual and group identity,
reflecting the values, traditions and history that shape them.
By preserving cultural heritage, we ensure that future generations can
understand and appreciate the cultural roots that shape their identity.
-Saving History and Lore:
Cultural heritage is an invaluable source of knowledge about the past,
providing insight into civilization, innovation and human struggle.
By preserving cultural heritage, we preserve traces of history for
future generations, enabling them to learn from past experiences.
Conclusion
Through this presentation, we realize that preserving cultural heritage is not only
about preserving artifacts and traditions, but also about forming strong connections
between the past, present and future. Cultural heritage is a milestone in life that
connects us to the roots of our identity, provides insight into the history and values
t hat shape us, and encourages cultural exchange that strengthens peace and
harmony in society. By preserving cultural heritage, we build bridges between
generations, realize a moral responsibility towards the future, and appreciate the
riches that previous generations have provided. Hopefully this awareness will
inspire us all to act as protectors and actors in preserving cultural heritage for
future generations.
