INSPIRED BY
Triangle
A triangle is a polygon with three sides and three angles.

Triangles have different names based on their side lengths and

angles.
Types of

Triangles
Equilateral Triangle

An equilateral triangle has three

equal sides, meaning all the sides
are the same length.
Isosceles Triangle

An isosceles triangle has two

equal sides, or two sides with the
same length.
Scalene Triangle

A scalene triangle has no equal

sides. All the sides are different
lengths.
Right Triangle
A triangle in which one of the
interior angles is 90° is called a
right triangle. A right triangle or
right-angled triangle, a triangle
in which two sides are
perpendicular, forming a right
angle.
Acute Triangle
A triangle is a basic polygon with three
sides and three vertices. It has three
interior angles. An angle that measures
between 0° and 90° is called an acute
angle. An acute triangle is a type of
triangle in which all the three
internal angles of the triangle are acute.
Obtuse Triangle

An obtuse triangle has one

obtuse angle (i.e. greater than
90°). The longest side is always
opposite the obtuse angle.
