• Prioritization: Prioritization is a systemic way of
assigning greater or lesser importance to various
items present in a list based upon different criteria so
as to better facilitate in the planning process by
indicating which item is to be addressed first.
• Criteria for the prioritization of need:
• 1. Knowledge
• 2. Resources
• 3. Availability of the target group
• 4. Cost effectiveness
• 5. Significance
• 6. Time

Work plan of MHP
• Planning
• Planning the type of project to be conducted
for the specific problem, select the target
group, methods and media to be used, the
appropriate venue and, date and time for the
project.
• 1) Problem identification
• The main problem(s) of the place was identified
by the process of prioritization. matrix.
• 2) Selection of target group
• 3) Use of health education methods and
medias
• 4) Selection of appropriate venue
• 5) Selection of appropriate date and time
• Implementation
• Mobilizing resources
- all the members of the group, other local human
resources - the school principal, teachers, FCHV,
students, leaders etc
Community participation
• Community participation is the key approach
for the MHP
• For the extensive participation of the
community people and the target group,
proper communication and coordination
should be established.
• Evaluation- 1. Interview-After the conduction
of micro health project feedback from the
people and participants of the program should
be taken & analyzed.
• The basic questions can be asked in the
feedback : 1) Did you understand the theme
of the program?
• 2)Were the information provided were
sufficient?
• 3) Is there anything to be added on the
program?
• 2. Observation
• Eg., After demonstration of hand washing we
can ask the audience repeat the steps
independently without the guidance to make
sure they learned it properly or not.
• 3. Meeting and discussion
