Our beloved summer

A coming-of-age romantic comedy that revolves around Choi Ung (Choi

Woo-shik) and Kook Yeon-soo (Kim Da-mi), ex-lovers who broke up with a promise
to never meet again. As luck would have it, the documentary they filmed ten years ago
in high school went viral and they are forced to face the cameras together again by
their producer friend. The series depicts their complicated feelings and growth.
This drama shows what love feels like. Instead of discussing practical
issues like family conflicts, it tells a story about throb, memory and dream. Romance
is revealed in many small, unnoticed acts.
The main characters

Kook Yeon-soo (Kim Da-mi) Choi Ung (Choi Woo-shik)

Let's start by saying that the cinematography is just amazing, the colors and the shots were perfectly in harmony with
the plot and the characters. Good choice of the main actors, they really have an amazing chemistry and their characters are very
well developed, they will make you fall in love with their story. Each episode consider the different points of view of the characters
so that everything always make sense.
It's about how a high school student became an ordinary
PR employee and met his lover who became an artist. I was
impressed not only by the love storyline, but also by the way they
showed him painting. It was a very beautiful atmospheric scene.

This drama cannot be boiled down as just a romance
drama.
At its very core, its a drama about how people deal with loneliness and
the feeling of abandonment and simple human emotions. Everything
about this drama feels so human. They all grew from the people they
were at the beginning. Their progression felt so natural. That is the
beauty of the drama, it takes simple human emotions and presents them
so vulnerably that we all can relate to some part of it.
It is very well directed and written. It's very hard to find a
drama like this where everything just seems to fall into place naturally.
I find it to be so comforting, like a warm hug.
"Because nothing would happen If I don't do
anything"

It is a line from this drama which implies that our choices or decisions
are what shapes our future. It doesn't matter whether we joy over it or regret it
because it's already too late to go back. We might have another chance to set things
straight but that again depends upon the others involved. Because In the end, that
was the choice you made, and it doesn't matter how hard it was to make it. It matters
that you did.
The original soundtrack

It really conveyed all the feelings,

experiences of the characters and the atmosphere
of the drama itself.
Conclusions

The thing that I loved in the story was how the story is said. The perspective of the story changes throughout the
drama, which helped to focus on all the four main characters‘ emotions. Also, the portrayal of the relations between each
characters is done so amazingly that we could relate to our real lives.
This drama also had many realistic quotes that are hard to realize but will make you stronger.
I also liked the titles given to each episodes that is a summary of the whole episode. Though we don't get why the
episode it named such at the beginning of the episode, we would surely get it at the end. This helps us to digest the whole meaning
of an episode.
Thank you for attention!
