Tatak Matatag na Negosyo - Sustainable Stores Movement (TMN)

This initiative, spearheaded by Coca-Cola

Philippines and the Department of Trade and
Industry (DTI), aims to bolster Micro, Small,
and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by
improving their business skills and providing
market and financial access. Stemming from
Coca-Cola's ReSTART program, it supports
small retail outlets like sari-sari stores and
carinderias, helping them become sustainable
and resilient.
 Target Community

MSMEs, especially those in the retail sector including sari-sari

stores, carinderias, mini bakeries, and stalls.

Outcome
This initiative supports the retail industry, which is an essential economic
driver providing livelihood and jobs to Filipinos nationwide. It offers low-
interest loan options, digital trade innovations, and aims to enhance the
capacities of micro-stores, facilitating information and access to formal
financial channels, and building stronger market linkages to optimize
supply chain management​.
Sustainable Packaging and Waste Management

This involves scaling up community recycling

solutions, promoting zero waste communities,
and implementing packaging collection efforts
across the nation. One of the notable
programs under this initiative is the "May
Ikabobote Pa" initiative which expands the use
of 100% recycled PET bottles.
 Target Community

Communities nationwide, with a focus on proper waste management

and recycling.

Outcome

The initiatives aim to promote sustainability through better waste

management and recycling, contributing to environmental conservation​5​6​.
Water Stewardship Initiative

The initiative is part of Coca-Cola’s global

2030 Water Security Strategy which focuses
on reducing shared water challenges,
enhancing community water resilience, and
improving the health of priority watersheds.
 Target Community

Communities facing water challenges and those residing

around critical watersheds.

Outcome

The initiative includes various programs like the Agos Program, which
provided a Level 2 water source for a barangay, and the P4WatER project
that aimed to provide clean and safe water to vulnerable communities in
the country​.
Climate Action and Sustainable Agriculture

Coca-Cola Philippines is working on reducing

greenhouse gas emissions and building
resilience through investments to enable
business and community adaptation to
climate change. They also focus on having a
healthy supply chain with thriving farming
communities.
 Target Community

Farming communities and broader communities affected by

climate change.

Outcome

The initiative aims to create a more sustainable and resilient agricultural

sector and community​.
