1. Share khan is one of the leading full service brokerage company which is running
successfully since 1922 in the country.

2. The firm’s online trading and investment site - www.sharekhan.com - was launched on Feb
8, 2000. The site gives access to superior content and transaction facility to retail
customers across the country Known for its jargon-free, investor friendly language and
high quality research.

3. On April 17, 2002 Share khan launched Trade Tiger software this was the first time that a
net-based trading station of this caliber was offered to the traders.

ICICI Bank for the last 3 months

Objective:

1) To understand the daily return series that


what will be the Average loss/Gain that
incurred.

2) To measure the (Minimum, Maximum,


Standard Deviation, Volatility)
Conclusion:
1) So standard deviation is 0.01 for month of January and
0.2 for the month of February and March.
2) It indicates that if standard Deviation is high, then there
is high volatility in the stock price, so here I can interpret
that for the month of January standard deviation is 0.01 or
1% whereas return is 0.033 or 3.3% and the maximum
loss incurred on the stock at the month of January is –
1.762% with an average of 0.3%, whereas for the month
of February and March making a loss.
3) Standard Deviation is high in the month of February
and March that means during these months Return series
witness high volatility, whereas for the month of January
return series witness Low volatility.
2. Compare the Mean Returns of Multiple Stocks

To determine whether there are any statically


difference between mean of 3 or more independent

Null Hypothesis that we make here is the “Mean Return


of 4 Stocks are Same”, and the Alternate Hypothesis

Strategy 3
