Drop Test

Lifting Test:-

 Test Conditions-
 Tank filed with dummy CCA(made of metal box and filled with sand).
 Tank is filled with water in periphery of tank and inside the fins area.
 Weight details are given below :
 FRP Tank Weight - 600 kg
 Fins Weight - 1400 kg
 Dummy CCA Metal Box - 130 kg
 Sand Weight - 3050 kg
 Water in fins - 2000 litre
 Total Weight - 7180.00 Kg(±5%)
Start End
 Inspection Before Test-
 No damages on wall of the tank.
 Some corners of tank are damaged from the top opening.
 No damages in fins.
 Leakages from the bottom and top of the rear side fins.
 No damages in lifting lugs.

 Test Procedure -
 Tank is lifted from using the belt and 25mm bar passing through the holes of
lifting lugs.
 Test has started at 16:45 IST and ended at 17:50 IST.

 Inspection After Test-


 No damages on wall of the tank.
 No damages in fins.
 No leakages from any other area of the tank.
 No damages in lifting lugs.
Drop Test:-
Drop Test Inspection After Drop Test
 Test Procedure-
 Tank has lifted using the rope at the distance of 350-400mm from the cemented ground.
 After lifting the tank it has dropped in parallel to ground as shown in video.
 There is no damage in the tank bottom and side.
