Awareness
Campaign
GROUP 2
What are the
social issues?
Verbal bullying
Uses their words to dominate, manipulate another
person (controlling and maintaining power over
another person).
Target a specific child or adult due to:
● Weight
● Gender
● Sexuality
● Race
● Appearance
● Another reason
Cause: concerns, stress, self-harming behaviors or
mental health problems.
Cyberbullying
A type of bullying that is done through the
use of technology.
For example:
● Posting embarrassing photos of
someone
● Spreading lies about them on social
media
● Sending hurtful messages
● Sharing personal or private
information about someone else.
Physical bullying
Someone uses their body or an object to
hurt or scare someone else.
Physical bullying includes damaging
someone's property.
Physical bullying is often most evident at
school because students are not mature
enough to stop their own negative behavior.
An extremely negative impact on victims,
especially teenage victims.

with another person
● Ignoring someone,…
Direct social bullying:
● Telling someone they aren’t welcome
● Telling people not to be friends with,…
Our
campaign!
will target several groups:
teachers, bullies, victims
and local citizens.
Who can help to fix this issue?
Teachers
• Propagate and raise awareness about bullying.

Bullies and victim

• Increase their knowledge to protest or find help
• Bullies be conscious of their actions and how they
negatively impact other people's lives as a consequence.

Local citizens
• Better understand bullying, join hands to fight it.
How do these issues affect the community?
Harmful consequences in: educational
environment, families and society
• When violence occurs at school, families will have
to spend a lot of effort, time, and money to solve
the problem.
• The residual effects of health and mental damage
persist for a long time
School violence not only appears in real life
but also appears on social networks
• The rate of students being bullied on social
networks is increasing, with a high risk in the age
group of 10 - 18 years old
• Risk of forming an insensitive and violent
generation of young people
• It will become an evil of the entire society, not just
a problem confined to schools
What activities do we plan to include in our campaign?

Stay away from violence and say no to violence:

It will help reduce the violence at my school and in society.
Create a comfortable learning environment, help student study
better.
Learn to control anger:
The anger is the main cause off bulling specifically physical
bullying.
Learning to control the anger will decrease physical bullying
Hold awareness discussions at school:
Aiming to change perceptions
Create a positive environment by using anti-bullying practices
Helpful for teenagers to avoid the consequences of these issues

Support when there is a risk of school violence:

Organizing meetings, learning about, and warning students about the
possible risk of school violence.
Raising awareness for teachers, students, and everyone in society about
fighting against peer pressure, and adolescent pressure.
What are their goals?
• Helps individuals feel confident and valued
and reduces the harmful effects of those 4
issues.
• By raising awareness and promoting self-
acceptance, we can create a supportive
environment.
