DISORDER
*Different types of Eating disorder have Different symptoms but each condition involved
an extreme Focus on issues related to food and eating and some involved an extreme focus
on weight.

Types of eating disorder
1.Anorexia nervosa
People with anorexia generally view themselves as overweight

severaly restrcit their calorie intake.
2.Bulimia nervosa
*Bulimia nervosa is another well know eating disorder.
*People with bulimia frequently eat usually large amount of food
in a specific period of time.

3.Binge eating disorder

•Pica is a eating disorder that involved eating things that are not considered food and do not
provide nutritional value
•However for the condition to be considered pica the eating of non-food substance must be
a typical part of someone culture or religion.In addition it must not be considered a socially
acceptable practice by a person peers
5.Ruminatoin Disorder

•Ruminatoin disorder is another newly recognize eating disorder


•If not resolved in infants rumination disorder can results in weight loss and severe
malnutrition that can be fatal
How to help someone with an eating
disorder
•If you think someone in your life has an eating disorder,your best is to supprot and
encourage them to seek help from a healthcare professional
•This can be extremely difficult for someone living with an eating disorder,supporting them
in other ways will help them feel care for an ecounrage in their recovery
