(family, school, peer)
Micro Micro-level analysis allows
for nuanced analysis of
particular dynamics of
social phenomena but may
fail to consider broader
social forces that impact
such processes.
What is Micro Environment?
The micro level looks at the teaching
and learning level; in other words, at the
faculty members. The same aspects as in the
previous levels were analyzed, with different
focuses: infrastructure (I, local environment),
quality (Q, quality of (O)ER), policy (P, local
policies) and change (C, incentives, support).
Affect Family
Low family income is associated
with poor academic achievement
among children. Higher rates of
school absence and tardiness
may be one mechanism through
which low family income impacts
children's academic success.
Affect Friends
Friendships can positively impact
students' academic performance
and grade point average (GPA) by
providing emotional support and
reducing stress, thereby leading
to improved focus and better
concentration on studies.
