 Heart pushes blood around the body


 Heart is made of muscle.
 Heart is strong. It can squeeze blood into
blood vessels.
 Each squeeze is called heart beat.
 Doing exercise is good for heart rate.

 Lungs are in your chest


 Lungs help you breathe
 When you breathe, lungs get bigger.
 Lungs brings oxygen into blood. Lungs
 When you do exercise, you breathe more,
then lungs brings more oxygen into your
blood.

 Brain helps you to think


 Brain never stops working
 It gets information from your sense organs
(eyes, ears, tongue, skin, nose)
 Brain uses information to help you talk, Brain

write, do maths and play.

 Stomach: digest the food (break down)


 Intestines : absorb nutrients from digested food
 Heart pushes blood around the body
 Brain: get (receive) and send messages from body senses
 Lungs: breathe oxygen into your body
