Example of LSB Method:

Example : Inserting the word “bomb” using LSB techniques:

-b = 01100010
-o = 01101111
-m = 01101101
-b = 01100010
Audio Steganography
Phase Coding Method:

The original sound signal is broken up into smaller segments whose lengths are equal

3 to size of message to be encoded.

Steganography Tools
 Steganos
 S- Tools(GIF,JPEG)
 StegHide(WAV,BMP)
 Invisible Secrets(JPEG)
 JPHide
 Camouflage
 Hiderman
Advantages & Disadvantages
Advantages:
 Concealment of sensitive information
 Communication secrecy
 Data protection
 Tamper-proofing

Disadvantages:
 Limited data capacity
 Complexity
 Detection
 File size increase

Conclusion
Steganography is the study and practice of concealing information
within objects in such a way that it deceives the viewer as if there
is no information hidden within the object. Simply put, it is hiding
information in plain sight, such that only the intended recipient
would get to see it.
