Quantifiers
Quantifiers are those words that modify a
noun and answer the question 'How
much?’
The quantifiers used is important in
determining which form—singular or plural
—a verb will take.
We use quantifiers when we want to give
someone information about the number of
something: how much or how many.

Quantifiers can be divided into three groups in terms of the type of
noun they can modify: (a) singular nouns, (b) plural nouns, or (c)
both singular and plural nouns.
