Objects

- ( Car, Her, TV, Me, Us) are objects.
- Object is someone or something who or
which does not do anything but rather
receives the action of the subject.

Objects of preposition
A noun or a pronoun following a preposition is
called object of a preposition
- Lee lives near Brighton.
- He lives among us.
-He lives among his old friends
- You can tell a lot about a fellow’s character by
his way of eating jellybeans.

• There are some verbs that do not take objects,
but they are followed by a subject

Who or whom
• Who is never an object but whom is always
object, So, use who for a subject but whom for
an object
- The paper slates whom?
- Show whom the money?
- Who shot whom?
A sentence can not have an indirect object
without having a Direct object.

danger.
