E-portfolio

An e-portfolio, short for electronic portfolio, is a digital


collection of evidence that showcases an individual's skills,
achievements, experiences, and learning over time. It can
include a variety of digital media such as text documents,
images, videos, audio recordings, presentations, and links to
websites or online projects. E-portfolios are commonly used in
educational settings, but they can also be utilized in professional
contexts for job applications, career development, and personal
reflection.
TYPES OF E-PORTFOLIO

Developmental (Working) E-Portfolio:

• This type of e-portfolio is designed to showcase the

time. It is like a digital diary that captures the learner's
journey, documenting the improvement and growth in their
abilities.
• They usually have things like assignments, projects, etc.
• Created by students to showcase their academic progress
and achievements.
• Developmental e-portfolios Encourage reflection on
learning experiences, challenges, and personal growth.
Assessment E-Portfolio:

• Assessment e-portfolios are used for evaluating students'


learning outcomes and competencies.
• It serves as a comprehensive collection of evidence that
showcases the individual's skills, knowledge, and
accomplishments related to a particular subject or field.
• this type of e-portfolio may be used for formal assessments,
evaluations, or certifications, allowing both the learner and
assessors to gauge the level of learner’s achievement.
Showcase E-Portfolio:

• The showcase e-portfolio is created to highlight outstanding and


exemplary work in a specific field. It is a collection of the
individual's best achievements, projects, or creations.
• it is often referred to as a career portfolio.
• Provides a platform for personal branding and self-promotion,
allowing individuals to differentiate themselves in a competitive
job market.
