The thermal spraying is
a technology that injects
the melted powder or wire
on the surface of
substrate by flame,
electric arc or plasma, and
the sprayed coating will be
adhered on the substrate.

Notice for Coating Layers

1.Do not hit the coating by sharp tool, or it may cause peeling.
2.Do not weld on the coating surface or near the interface, or it
may cause peeling or affect welds.
3.Do not use hand grinder to grind it continuously, otherwise the
partial overheating may cause peeling.
4.Even using thermal spray coating, the mating surface should
be lubricated, otherwise the heat may cause peeling.
5.Hardness of base material should be taken into consideration.

Limits of Thermal Spraying

1.The coating can not increase mechanical strength.
2.The coating can not fill cracks or pinholes
without pre-treatment.
3.The coating is weak in high-loading conditions,
ex: shearing forces 、 heavy rolling .
4.The coating quality relate to inject angles.
substrate with complicate shapes or narrow inside
are not recommended.
5.The coating can not be too thick or too thin.
