tasks and responsibilities that go beyond
their counseling sessions with clients.
 Being accountable means being answerable
to their actions. It is important to learn that
while responsibilities can be shared,
accountability cannot.

professional development in order to maintain
their capacities as counselors and continue
practicing their profession.

clients’ records, and they are also responsible for
granting clients access to these.

relative as a client can risk potential issues and bias in
