 DIVINE BOOKS OF ALLAH

• There are four Books which were revealed By Allah:

Zabur
Torah
Injeel
Qur’an
 ZABUR
• The Zabur was revealed to
Prophet Dawood Aleh Salam.
• It was revealed to the people of
Israel.
• They spoke the Hebrew language.
• Thus was revealed in the Hebrew
language.
 TAURAT

• The Taurat was revealed to Prophet Musa

Aleh Salam.
• It was revealed to the people of Israel (Bani
Israel).
• They too spoke the Hebrew language, thus
was revealed in the Hebrew language.
• The Taurat Brought in new rules and
relaxed a few so as to adjust to the situation
and timeframe of that particular nation.
 INJEEL

• The Injeel was revealed to Prophet Issa Aleh

Salam.
• It was revealed to the people of Israel (Bani
Israel).
• They also spoke the Hebrew language, thus
was revealed in the Hebrew language.
• The Taurat, by this time. Had been changed
and was creating confusion in between
people.
 QUR’AN

 The Qur’an is the final message of Allah, sent

to Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) as a mercy
to mankind.
 The Scripture is revealed in Arabic as it is
easy to understand, and remember.
 With the people changing the injeel and
torah, to their desires Allah has promised the
Qur’an upto the Last Day.
 FUN FACTS

• The English name for Zabur is Psalms.

• The Taurat was first written on stone tablets (used to hold info that can’t be altered.
• The Injeel is the latter part of the bible, called as the new Testament.
• The Earlier part is the Taurat, which is known as the Old Testament.
• The Qur’an is also known as Al Furqan.
