Lankaran is a city in
Azerbaijan, on the coast
Caspian Sea. The city had a
population of 89300.
Lankaran is famous for tea and
citrus fruits. If you go to
Lankaran, you can see citrus
groves and tea plantations in
many places.

part of the Lankaran
Fortress built in the
18th century. The
Zindan Fortress was
used as a prison
from 1869 to 1959.
According to some
reports, at the
beginning of the 20th
century, Joseph
Stalin served his
sentence here.

Kazar Lankaran FC was a very famous football team in
Azerbaijan. The club had many fans. When I was a child, I often
went to Khazar Lankaran’s match.
