What Is Social Awkwardness?
Social awkwardness is not a mental issue, this can
happen to anyone. Social awkwardness is more
about the feeling of someone who doesn't feel
familiar and embarrassed when they meet or talk
to other people. Socially awkward people might
have a hard time navigating conversations or
working their way into a group. As a result, they
might seem a bit “off” to others.

Who Is Most Susceptible
to Social Awkwardness?
People who have social awkwardness are also
often referred to as introverts. In general, introverts
usually don't like social gatherings, prefer to be in
slightly crowded places and have hobbies that they do
individually. Maybe, because these socially awkward
people are more likely to do activities or things they
think are more comfortable to do it alone, this is what
makes them feel awkward when meeting and talking to
other people, outside of their comfort zone.
Conflict Resolution
Introverts themselves are typical of people who prefer to
spend time alone or with one or two friends they feel close to.
An introvert knows when is the time for them to socializing.
Introverts often need time alone to recharge after being in a
social environment.
Conflict Resolution
How we can deal with it? There are several ways to overcome social
awkwardness:
1. Encourage yourself to practice talking to yourself in your room.
2. Don't always think that other people pay attention to you, focus on
yourself.
3. Communicate more often with your parents or family about your
problems or what you are feeling right now.
4. Don't overthink about how you should behave to people,
just be yourself.
5. Often get out of the house just to say hello to the neighbors.
