INTRODUCTION

A real-life example of fetal ECG is when doctors use it during

pregnancy to monitor the heart rate of the baby and assess its health.
Regular ECG is commonly used in hospitals and clinics to check the
heart's electrical activity in patients with heart conditions or during
routine check-ups.

Fetal ECG can be challenging because it requires monitoring the

electrical activity of a small, moving target—the fetus—through the
mother's abdominal wall, which can lead to issues with signal quality
and accuracy. Additionally, fetal ECG interpretation requires specialized
training due to differences in fetal heart rate patterns compared to adult
ECGs.

Summary & Future Scope
Fetal heart diseases pose various challenges, primarily because they can be complex and may
require specialized care even before birth. Diagnosing these conditions often relies on advanced
imaging techniques such as fetal echocardiography, which may not be widely available in all
healthcare settings. Additionally, managing these conditions may involve a multidisciplinary
team of specialists to ensure the best outcomes for both the fetus and the mother.

Future Scope:

● Investigate real-time arrhythmia detection for continuous health monitoring.

● Extend the model to handle a wider range of arrhythmia types.
● Implement interpretability features to enhance trust in the classification results.
● Explore the integration of wearable technologies for seamless FECG signal acquisition.
● Collaborate with healthcare professionals to validate the model's clinical efficacy.
