There has been changes in Rainfall, Wildfires, and sea

levels. Australia is also hot due to the High-Pressure
belt which lays above. Coral Reefs are starting to die
due to the sudden change in water temperature and
food is becoming sacred.

Australia is also experiencing extreme drought which

could last long depending on area. The rising of the
sea also cause threat to housing and infrastructures.
There are also Marine heat waves.
Australia is a big producer of Fossil fuels, which releases a large
amount of CO2 into the atmosphere. In Australia 73% of electricity
comes from burning coal and 13% comes from burning gas. The left
over 14% comes from renewable energy.

Australia has lost a lot of land due to Deforestation and Tree-

clearing to make more farms. Trees are needed to keep the
climate in a regular state. Farming also produces Methane
which is a greenhouse gas.
Due to the long-lasting Wildfires, Animal
Habitats have been destroyed. Animals like
Kangaroos could suffer from harsh and poor
body conditions due to the droughts which
could lead to infections because of this up to
20% of Australia’s animals and plants are
treated with extinction. Fish are also dying in
the lakes due to the heat.
In Australia, they have a group of Researchers who are
trying to find out what the future is of Australia. Some
Groups are investing in Solar and renewable energy to
be used in the future. There are many groups being
formed to stop Climate Change like the Greening
Australia.
