TRIANGLE ∆ 𝑨𝑩𝑪
• In geometry, a triangle is a closed, two dimensional
shape with three straight sides. It is also a polygon.
• A triangle has three sides, three vertices and three
angles.
CORRESPONDENCE A C
__ __ __
SIDES: AB , BC , AC
Note:
The symbol for ‘corresponds to’ is ANGLES: A, B, C
VERTICES: A, B, C
Example:
__ __
AB DE It read as ‘ line segment AB is corresponds to line segment DE’.
A D It read as ‘ angle A is corresponds to angle D’.
EXAMPLE:
B C D
By rotating the second triangle to the left side, you can map it
to the other triangle.
