Problem Statement

□ The problem addressed in this study is the need for improved

weather forecasting platforms that effectively engage users
through interactive and visually appealing interfaces. Despite
advancements in technology, existing weather forecasting
systems often lack the capability to deliver information in a
lively and immersive manner.
□ This presents a challenge in effectively communicating
weather conditions to users and enhancing their
understanding and engagement with the forecasted data.
4/26/2024 ICCDS-2024 9
Proposed Work

□ To address this problem, there is a demand for innovative

solutions that leverage advanced technologies like
augmented reality (AR) and interactive user interfaces to
create dynamic and engaging weather forecast platforms.
□ These solutions aim to provide real-time updates, interactive
maps, and personalized features that enhance user experience
and promote greater engagement with weather forecasts.

4/26/2024 ICCDS-2024 10
Methodology

□ Identify diverse and reliable sources of meteorological data,

including government agencies, research institutions,
weather stations, and satellite observations.
□ Ensure that the selected sources provide data on key
meteorological parameters such as temperature,
precipitation, humidity, wind speed, and atmospheric
pressure.
□ Access data repositories or APIs provided by meteorological
organizations to retrieve real-time or historical weather data.
4/26/2024 ICCDS-2024 11
Methodology

□ After weather predictions are generated using machine

learning algorithms, they need to be hosted on a server to
make them accessible to users.
□ The server serves as a centralized repository for storing
forecast data and allows for real-time updates as new data
becomes available.
□ Weather data hosted on the server is fetched and dynamically
displayed within the Unity 3D environment, allowing users to
interact with weather forecasts in a 3D space.
4/26/2024 ICCDS-2024 12
Results and Discussions

□ Our platform transcends mere forecast accuracy by actively

involving users through its interactive functionalities. By
presenting real-time weather simulations that users can
seamlessly engage. we deepen their comprehension of
weather phenomena. This enhanced understanding
empowers users to make knowledgeable decisions in
reaction to evolving weather conditions, thereby enhancing
their safety and overall well-being.

4/26/2024 ICCDS-2024 13
Conclusion

□ In conclusion, the development of the Weather Forecasting

and Visualization Mobile App represents a paradigm shift in
how we engage with and comprehend atmospheric
conditions. Our methodology, meticulously crafted through
the integration of diverse meteorological datasets, the
transformative power of augmented reality, and cutting-edge
mobile app development, stands as a testament to innovation
and user-centric design principles.
