Definition of culture

• Culture can be defined as all the


ways of life including arts,
beliefs and institutions of a
population that are passed down
from generation to generation
Types of culture

• The two basic types of culture


are material culture, physical
things produced by a society,
and nonmaterial culture,
intangible things produced by a
society
Books culture

• Culture can refer to the beliefs,


customs, values, and activities
of a particular group of people
at a particular time.
Architecture culture

• Cultural Architecture refers to


the design and construction of
buildings and structures that
reflect the traditions, beliefs,
and values of a specific culture
or society
Music culture

• In the context of music, culture


refers to the shared beliefs, values,
customs, and practices that shape
the creation, performance, and
reception of music within a
particular community or society.
Theatre culture

• Theater has been present in various


forms and cultures for at least 2,500
years. In many locations, theater as
performance evolved from other ideas
and customs, such as events honoring
gods and mythical creatures.

• In 1577 he was forced to leave grammar school at the age of 13
• in late 1582, William Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway
• He had 3 children
• He died on April 23, 1616
