Lesson Objectives
• The students are able to formulate the statement of the problem for
their research project.
• The students get the understanding on the conceptual framework for
research.
• The students are able to formulate hypothesis for their research
project.
Statement of the Problem
A statement of problem is an explanation in research that describe the
issue needs to be examine.
It should be brief and concise, and should not include any findings or
detailed data.
The purpose of the statement of the problem is to summarize the
current information and where a lack of knowledge may be
presenting a problem that needs to be investigated.
Research question vs statement of the problem
Anyone can tell us what is the difference between a research question
and a statement of the problem?
