Air Pollution Modelling with Machine
learning
 In this project, aim was to study the adverse condition of air pollution in nearby
mining area whether it is due to mining works, industries nearby and people leaving
nearby.
 For this the area selected is Chandrapur for the study as Western Coalfields one of the
subsidiary of CIL and major producer of coal. The area is having both opencast as well
as underground mines. The city is also having CTPS one of the electricity producer in
the state. And other factories are also located like Cement, explosive etc.
 The data collected was from the CPCB and meteoblue organization. The data was
from the July 2015 and till March 2021.
 The collected data consisted of Particulate matter( PM10 & PM2.5), ozone, Sulphur,
temperature, Rainfall, windspeed and direction.
 Our aim was to study the nature of particulate matter affecting the health. From
data the parameter which affect the particulate matter was selected by seeing
correlation value.
 Pandas and NumPy useful packages were used to manipulate the data as it was
having many null values and undesired values which was to dropped and the
action carried on was matrix which is of size (50,173 x 13).
 Machine learning model (Regression and ANN) was trained on our final data set
and result was obtained.
 The outcome of the project was the mining works influence the pollution to
greater extent and other were also responsible.
 Outcome can be used to study the health scenarios as PM10 adversely effect in
winter as compared to rainy.

Clean Coal Technology- Indian
Perspective
 In this main aim was to study the use of natural resources without using
traditional method and their consequences in Indian condition.
 The method which we were considered were Integrated Gasification Combined
Cycle (IGCC), Pulverized Coal Combustion, Carbon capture and Storage
(CCS) and Coal gasification.
 On using of this technology lead to disturbance of insitu condition present around
the coal reserve and hence it leads to the study of forces around the reserve,
 Hence, leads to design of support and stabilization parameter required.
Interested courses

 Tunneling and Underground Space technology :- Both mining and civil industry
must deal with underground structures, and one must know the consequences of
work carried deep down the earth. Therefor, one must know how to simulate the
forces and design of the structures.
 Rock slope Technology :- This course I like the most because it need the great
understanding of surrounding in which it is driven and for this one should have
proper knowledge of forces acting and how to stablise it.
 One should know, to use of new technology like Remote sensing for stabilization
and monitoring of structures. The use of software is very much needed for this.
Certification

 Gas Testing Competency Exam conducted By DGMS

 Data Science Nanodegree, Udacity
 Programing in python, coursera
 Finite Element method, coursera
 Machine learning, Udemy
