WHAT DO WE CALL PARALLEL
LINES IN VIETNAMESE?

1. Alternating
internal
angles
Alternating internal angles are pairs of
two angles created by two straight lines
and a line that intersects them. These two
angles are on the same side of the
intersecting line and are in the same
position on two parallel lines. This angle
has equal value.
corresponding
angles
Corresponding angles are formed when a
transversal intersects two parallel lines.
These angles are located on the same side of
the transversal in corresponding positions.
Corresponding angles are always formed in
pairs and are congruent.
Their
characteristic
properties
1. Alternating internal angles: These are two angles located on the same side of the cutting line and
located in the same position on two parallel lines. The properties of staggered interior angles are:-
Two alternate interior angles are equal (same magnitude).- The sum of two alternate interior angles is
180 degrees (complementary angle).
2. Congruent angles: These are two angles located on the same side of the cutting line and located in
different positions on two parallel lines. The properties of the isotopic angle are:- Two congruent
angles have a sum of 180 degrees (complementary angle).- If the sum of two congruent angles is 180
degrees, then the congruent angles are supplementary angles of each other.- Isotopic angles are not
equal (different in magnitude).
If two lines intersect a third line to form a pair of equal interior
angles, then the two lines are parallel
- If two lines intersect a third line to form a pair of equal angles,
then those two lines are parallel
- If two lines intersect a third line to form a pair of complementary
angles on the same side, then those two lines are parallel
In addition, we also have the following sign: If two lines intersect a third
line to form a pair of equal exterior angles, then those two lines are
parallel.
