• Iran publishes 71% of MENA journals (386).
• Egypt: 46, Iraq: 23, and Saudi Arabia: 17.
• Until March 2018, Egypt was the fourth top county in
DOAJ with about 600 journals, but the Egyptian
publisher Hindawy moved its headquarter to London.
