1.What good is the grass if the horse is dead.
Aanhin pa ang damo kung patay na ang kabayo.
This proverb often pertains to --
* help or relief that came too late
* have orders that took too long to arrive that it is no
longer needed
2. What you sow
shall you reap.

Kung may tinanim

may aanihin.
The meaning of "as you sow,
so you shall reap" is:
if you did bad things in the
past, you will get bad results
in the future.
if you did good things in the
past, you will get good results
in the future.
3. A broom is sturdy
because its strands are
tightly bound.
Matibay ang walis ,palib-
hasa’y magkabigkis.

The Filipino proverb 'A broom is

sturdy because its strands are
tightly bound'
simply means having the
cooperation in every member of an
organization or group of people is
needed in order to make a task
done effectively and efficiently.
What good is the palace if it’s
inhabited by owls. Better a straw
hut that is inhabited by humans.

Aanhin mo ang palasyo kung

ang nakatira ay kuwago.
Mabuti pa ang bahay kubo na
ang nakatira ay tao.

A shot of materialism, this

humane than to live in a lavish
house and act like a low-life or
animal
