Lesson Motivation

Tell your favorite poems or rhymes. Some answers may be


"Humpty Dumpty. "Hickory, Dickory, Dock"Twinkle, Twinkle,
Little Star", "Rain, Rain, Go Away,"Little Sally Walker","Jack
en Poy", etc.
Group according to the rhyme you like best and each
group will recite the chosen piece.
Activity 1

1. Recite " Hickory, Dickory, Dock" Together.


2. As you repeat the rhyme, clap your hands to
the beat. Your teacher will guide you by
clapping or playing any rhythmic instrument
available in the classroom.
3. Sit, facing apartner. Pass a pencil to
each other on every
beat of "Hickory, Dickory, Dock."
