Game Review Discussion Forums
Students will analyse and review a game. The review will be assessed on the identification of game
mechanics and statements on the challenge and fun of the gameplay.
After posting a review, two response comments on other reviews will be required. One response to a
review they agree with and a response to a review that they do not agree with.
Modern game design practices rely heavily on collaboration to create games. This activity familiarizes
learners with discussing games from a critical design perspective.

Game Design Discussion Forums
In these forums participants post the design documents for games and can leave constructive
comments on others documents. The document must contain rules, full depictions of all game pieces,
and a description or demonstration of game play.
Modern game design practices rely heavily on collaboration to create games. This activity
familiarizes learners with commenting in a constructive way when collaborating on a game design.
There are three forums, one for each primitive game type:
1.Dice games
2.Card games
3.Board games
