INTRODUCTION:
1. The traditional electric cable charging for EVs brings up some
problems.
2. For instance, EVs have to be parked in the charging stations
equipped with electric chargers with cables in order to get
powered
and it usually takes at least a couple of hours to get full
charged.
3. To avoid the limitation of position and time, the wireless power
transmission (WPT) is proposed for an alternative
solution for EVs charging.
4. Through inductive coupling effect, EVs can be charged
continuously as long as they drive along the roadway

METHODOLOGY:
1. WPT is presented based on the inductive coupling theory.
2. In this technique, the sinusoidal current flows through a primary coil
to generate a varying magnetic field, and the secondary coil in this
field can collect the energy through inductive coupling.
3. There will be a mutual inductance between the primary coil and
secondary coil.
4. There will be a mutual inductance between the primary coil and
secondary coil.
5. The physical wireless charging lane is made up of a series of
identical spiral transmission coils.
6. magnetic field that is linked with secondary coil thus the power is
transferred directly from grid of vehicle
COMPONENTS
USED:

SOLAR PANEL:
It is the main source for the power supply. The electrical power generated
from the PV cells is stored in the Battey.

Charger circuit: this charger circuit is used to store or charge the

battery connected to the primary coil (transmitter coil)
COMPONENTS
USED:

Transmitter and Receiver coil:

The battery that stores the power from solar energy is subjected to the
coils. The current that flows through the primary coil (transmitter coil)
induces a magnetic field and and the secondary coil (receiver coil) in this
field can collect the energy through inductive coupling

Nickle Cadmium battery:

This is a recharge able battery which is charged using the solar
power obtained from solar panel.
COMPONENTS
USED:

Switching circuit:
Mosfet circuit is used to amplify the voltage and control the flow of
current.

Transformer:
Used as the secondary source in case of non availability of solar
power.
COMPONENTS
USED:

Rectifier circuit:
The power obtained from the receiver coil is in as but to drive an electric
vehicle dc power is required and hence we use the rectifier circuit.

Lithium ion battery (12V 1amp):

Used to store the power obtained from the receiver coil. It is a
rechargable battery.
COMPONENTS
USED:

DC Motor:
Used to drive the electric vehicle.

Switch:
Used to turn on and turn off the circuit.
