Strategy: Ask and Answer Questions • You can ask questions before you read and while you are reading so you can better understand the story. Teacher: Think Aloud • As I read this book, I will pause every few pages to ask questions. I will look for the answers as I continue reading. I can ask questions using words like What? or Where? Teacher: Think Aloud • At the beginning of the book, I read that we are going to see many shapes. I ask: Which shapes will we see first? I find my answer on pages 6-7. We see circles first. There are many circles at the park. As I read, I will keep asking questions.
