 What is Vedic Mathematics ?
• Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient system of mathematics
which was rediscovered from Atharva Veda.
• It’s a very unique technique of calculations based on simple principles and rules
With which any mathematical problems like arithmetic , algebra , geometry ,
trigonometry can be solved mentally.
Father of Vedic Mathematics

(An Indian Monk)

•Vedic Mathematics was rediscovered by an Indian monk Shri

Bharathi Krishna Tirthaji between the year 1911 to 1918. So,
he is Regarded as the Father of Vedic Maths and he published
his findings in a book titled Vedic Mathematics in 1957 wherein
he wrote about the 16 Sutras and 13 sub sutras .
