 2. ADJECTIVE (KATA SIFAT)
 Examples: Beautiful, good, tall, white, clever, handsome,
diligent, lazy, rich, happy, strong, fat…

1. She is diligent, but her brother is lazy.

2. He has a black and short hair.
3. I am very happy.
 3. NOUN (Kata Benda)
 Examples: book, water, car, umbrella, cat, mouse,
school, boy, pencil, house, table, bag…

1. Where is your car?

2. There are three books in the bag.
3. My cat is very cute.
 4. CONJUNCTION (Kata Sambung)

 Examples: Untuk menggabungkan yang setara: for, and, nor,

but, or, yet, so. Untuk menggabungkan yang tidak setara: after,
before, since, when…

 When we are studying, she comes.

 He is tall but his sister is short.
 Mr. Fajar is reading and we are listening to him.
 5. ADVERB (Kata Keterangan)
 Examples: Now, well, soon, slowly, today, very, almost,
seldom, twice, sometimes, always...

 We are studying English now.

 She usually goes to school on foot.
 My mother is very kind.
 We always eat rice.
 6. VERB (Kata Kerja)
 Examples: study, write, sing, kiss, hit, dig, buy, sell,
borrow, eat, drink, speak, go, fill, bring...

1. I usually go to school on foot.

2. We speak English.
3. Where do you live?
4. She is drinking juice.
 7. INTERJECTION (Kata Seru)
 Examples: Ah!, Hi!, Hurray, Oh, Ouch!, Wow, Argh,
Ugh, Hello, Ouch, huh, mmm, oops…

 8. PREPOSITION (Kata Depan)

 Examples: in, on, at, after, for, since, during, since,

behind, beside, under, below…
