ABSTRACT

This project introduces a blockchain-based system designed to

authenticate products and address the issue of counterfeiting in the supply chain.
Unique identifiers are assigned to products, and their data is immutably recorded on
a decentralized blockchain, ensuring transparency and resistance to tampering.
Smart contracts automate verification processes, and consumers can easily confirm
product authenticity through scanning. The collaborative and secure features of
blockchain technology engage stakeholders across the supply chain, building trust
and operational efficiency. This solution, from a third-person perspective, offers a
scalable and reliable approach to tackle the global challenge of counterfeit goods,
ultimately boosting consumer confidence and optimizing supply chain operations
INTRODUCTION

Counterfeiting within the supply chain poses a formidable challenge,

threatening consumer trust and economic stability. In response, this project
introduces a groundbreaking solution leveraging blockchain technology for
product authentication. By assigning unique identifiers to each product and
recording immutable data on a decentralized blockchain, the system ensures
transparency and tamper resistance. Smart contracts automate verification
processes, and consumers can effortlessly confirm product authenticity
through scanning. The collaborative and secure nature of blockchain engages
stakeholders across the supply chain, fostering trust and operational
efficiency. This innovative approach presents a scalable and reliable means to
combat the pervasive issue of counterfeit goods, contributing to a more
secure and trustworthy marketplace.
OBJECTIVES

Develop a blockchain system to assure consumers of product authenticity.

Utilize blockchain's tamper-resistant features to actively counter the issue
of counterfeit goods.
Use smart contracts to streamline and automate the product verification
process.
Enable easy, independent verification of product authenticity through
scanning.
Provide a scalable solution for the global reduction of counterfeit goods.
