.The main purpose of rehabilitaiton is to change inmates
pattern of criminal behavior and reform them into a law abiding and productive citezen through the implementation of rehabilitation in jail. TREATMENT PROGRAM

The provision for basic physiological needs is the first
consideration before any effective rehabilitation or treatment program can be undertaken.

.The health sevice shall aim provide quality health care
among uniformed and non-uniformed peronnel,and their qualified dependents and inmates in various city,district,and municipal nationwide under the bureau pf jail management and penology. EDUCATION AND TRAINING
• Non-formal education for adult which is designed to
improve their communication and computation skills,such as the ability to read and write in order to enhance their individual education level. RELIGOUS SERVICES,GUIDANCE AND COUNSELLING SERVICES
• Every jail,whenever possible,shall extend to inmates the
greatest amount of freedom and opportunity pursuing individual religous beliefs and practices as an essential part of the mission to rehabilitate inmates. PROGRAM AND SERVICES

that all outgoing and incoming mail matters are passed through a designated censor office in order to prevent the entry of contraband or illegal articles and entry or exit of information affecting the security of the jail. OTHER SERVICES

• PREVILEGES AND MISCELLANEOUS PROVISION
• MANNER OF RELEASING • A prisoner may be released by service of sentenced order of the court pardon amnesty and any lawful order of competent authority • LEAVE FORM THE JAIL • However,leaves of detention prisoners shall require prior approval of the court having jurisdiction over them provided,however,that in cases of life and death, the warden,on his own discretion may allow an inmate’s hospitalization and medical treatmet. • COORDINATION WITH OTHER COMPONENTS OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM • The warden shall coordinate with the public attorney’s office PAO and parole and probation administration PPA in conducting periodic visatations of the jail to enable the inmates threat to avial themesleve of the following services. • 1.PUBLIC ATTORNEY’S OFFICE (PAO) • a.Legal representation of inmates in the trial of their cases • b.Assistance to convicted inmates in filing applications for probation • c.Assistance in coordination with the national prosecution services to inmates in obtaining realease on recognizeor temporary release pursuant to batas pambansa blg 85. • 2.PAROLE AND PROBATION ADMINISTRATION (PPA) • a.Assistance to inmates qualified for probation • b.Conduct pre-parole and executive elementary cases e.g parole,communication a report thereon,together with the prioson records, to the board.
