Speed is the change in distance over
change in time . (d/t)

Velocity requires an additional element of


direction and is the vector counterpart of
speed.

Acceleration
Acceleration is the change in velocity per change
in time. It involves a chnage of in either speed or
direction, or both. When an object increases its
speed or velocity,it is accelerating ; if otherwise ,it
is decelerating or non-accelerating (constant
velocity).
