.
The history of money is a long and interesting journey that
reflects the evolution of economic systems and technologies.

Exchange of goods
The first forms of trade were
based on a system of exchange
of goods known as "barter".
People exchanged goods
without using money, it turned
out to be ineffective and
burdensome.
The roots of money

Over time, people began to

use metal objects as a means
of exchange. The most
common metal was gold.
Gold had properties that
made it practical for use as
money, such as immutability
and portability.
Paper money

During the Middle Ages, some

governments removed paper
money to replace it with
metal coins. Because of this,
there was inflation, but at the
same time it made it
convenient to store large
amounts of money.
Electronic money and plastic cards

In the second half of the 20th

century, credit and debit cards
appeared, which revolutionized
the way payments were made.
This paved the way for cashless
transactions and made electronic
transfers more convenient
Electronic payments and cryptocurrencies

When the Internet appeared,

electronic payments became
extremely popular. In addition, in
2009, Bitcoin, the first cryptocurrency
using blockchain technology, was
launched. This has ushered in a new
era of digital and decentralized
payments.
Modern technologies and mobile payments

Today's technologies allow making payments using

mobile phones, contactless cards and other
innovative solutions. Such methods are fast,
convenient and effective.
The history of money reflects not only economic progress,
but also technological developments and changes in the
ways in which people interact in the financial sphere.
