 Pakistan International Human Rights Organization
 The Pakistan International Human Rights Organization
(PIHRO) started working in 1999 as an independent non-
profit, non-political and non-governmental Organization.
 PIHRO is a local, multi-disciplinary, development
oriented and non-profit making organization.

Members
Its staff consists of human rights professionals including
country experts, lawyers, journalists, and academics of
diverse backgrounds.
Mission
PIHRO was established with the aim of promoting and
protecting human rights with a particular emphasis of
working with vulnerable groups, such as ; women, children
and refugees.
Its primary objectives are to promote and protect Human
Rights and to help the poor and down trodden in securing
their rights through advocacy, research, legal aid and
financial assistance.

PIHRO has set up a number of branches, in all the
four provinces of Pakistan and in FATA, Northern Areas
and Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
It extended the activities of the organization throughout
Pakistan, from each district headquarters and later to
sub-district level and to involve in positive work for the
promotion and protection of human rights, especially
for the youth.

Human Rights Organization Of Pakistan HROOP,
is an independent, non-profit organization, founded in 2009.
HROOP believes human rights are not being adequately
protected, it will say so clearly and strongly, and will actively
seek change in the law, policy or practice concerned.
In carrying out its functions, the organization will operate in
an independent, fair, open, accessible and accountable
manner and will seek to use the full powers conferred upon
it.
The Organization will seek to increase awareness of human
rights protections and how to access them, striving to create
a strong, pervasive culture of human rights at all levels
within the State.

Society for the Protection of the Rights of the Child
SPARC is a Pakistani independent non-governmental
organization dedicated to protecting the rights of
children.

SPARC was officially established on December 17,


1992, in Islamabad.
It was founded by Supreme Court
Advocate Anees Jillani.

Mission
It was established as an advocacy group for children’s
rights. it works on child labour, juvenile justice,
education and violence against children.
It has held "children's parliaments" and worked to
end corporal punishment in Pakistani schools.
