 We the teachers are no longer the source of knowledge for our
students
 The schools, the library are no longer the only place where students
can get knowledge and information
 Today is the internet. The internet has store of knowledge that can
be accessed 24 hour a day.
 We as the teachers as a 21st century teachers have to make use of

No. 3 Student- that wealth of knowledge and information and we need to teach our
students to do that
centered  That is possible when we stop spending our time lecturing in the

Teacher classroom
 We have to learn how to reduce the amount of teaching so students
get a lot of opportunities to explore, spend time, looking at, finding,
identifying, screening from the internet, Google.
 If the students can find the information on Google, there is no point
for you to teach it but there are other skills that you have to teach to
your students, the skill of managing information, identifying,
selecting, evaluating information. Thats what we have to teach but
not the knowledge itself.
 Student centered teaching is closely associated with the
idea that it is the students do the learning. The teachers
do the teaching.
 That’s why we need to engage the students so well that
they get the opportunity to learn more in the classroom
under our guidance, and supervision (Learner
Engagement)

but you need to be carefully choosing tools that are easy to
use, and tools that are support your teaching.
2. Teachnology does not improve teaching and learning. It is the
way we use technology that can improve students’ learning in
the classroom
3. We have to use technology. Because our students are users of
technology so they will not become too happy if you teach
them without technology
4. Being digitally literated means you need to know different
ways, different convensions different culture of
