Sites of Interest
Here are three sites of interest found in
Trinidad and Tobago:

• No Man’s Land

• Argyle Falls

• Mount St. Benedict Abbey

No Man’s Land

No Man’s Land is a spit of white


coral sand stretching out in front of
the Bon Accord lagoon. It is sur-
rounded by clear shallow water
and speckled with leafy trees and
small forest growth on either side of a
long path.

Argyle Falls

At 175 feet, Argyle Falls, Located on the


northeast side of Tobago is encircled by
lush green foliage. The waterfall is accessed
after a 15–20-minute trek along a
marked trail. Along the way, There are
various beautiful birds.

Mount St. Benedict Abbey

This monastery is located in the northwest-


ern town of St. Augustine in Tuna-
puna–Piarco in Trinidad and Tobago.
Today, with its tower and red roofs, church
and drug rehabilitation it is a great place
for retreat.

Tobago Jazz Festival
The Tobago Jazz Festival is a festival that features popular musicians playing
mostly jazz with some unique themes of Trinidad and Tobago. The first jazz
festival happened in 2005 with singers like Stevie Wonder, Babyface, etc.
Tobago Heritage Festival
The Tobago Heritage Festival takes place over two weeks from mid-July to
Emancipation Day on 1st August. It is an annual celebration of Tobago's dance,
song and cuisine, and strives to preserve Tobago’s unique cultural heritage.
Blue Food Festival

Each year in mid-October, the little seaside village of Bloody Bay in Trinidad
and Tobago celebrates the versatility of dasheen taro. Locals gather to sell their
unique products made with this 'blue' food, including ice creams, sauces and
liqueurs.
