PURPOSES OF ASSESSMENT
• Recognize current existing competency of
candidate/s
• Determine if competency has been achieved
following learning

Context of Assessment

• Assessment shall be actual performance in a


simulation of the real job.
• Perform the assessment tasks as if you are
working in a housekeeping department .
• Knowledge shall be assessed via demonstration,
observation and oral questioning.

• Written (knowledge)
• Demonstration for the other units of
competencies. Evidence is to be gathered
and recorded in the Rating Sheet
• Questioning / interview. Evidence to be
recorded in the Rating Sheet.
• Feedback Session: Discussion of the result of
the assessment based on the Rating Sheet.

3.Make up beds (Duvet or Traditional)

5.Laundering and Operation of Equipment

• You will be asked for your agreement to the


result of the assessment.
• In case you do not agree with the result or you
have major concerns with the assessment or
the assessor, file your complaint.
• Complaint must be in writing.
• Follow the protocol: Provincial Office,
Regional Office, Central Office.

Rules / Regulations
• Practice minimum health protocol. Wear face masks,
shields, and observe physical distancing at all times.
• Be in proper attire.
• Must be ready with tour gadgets, calls and first aid kit.
• Avoid conferring with other candidates about the
assessment.
• Ask permission if you must leave the holding or waiting
area.
• All reserved services must be RESERVED ahead.
• Think, talk, act – as a Housekeeping staff.
HOW TO CLAIM RESULT

• ONE WEEK AFTER THE ASSESMENT,CHECK YOUR


PROVIDED GMAIL ACCOUNT IF YOU RECEIVED THE
SOFTCOPY OF YOUR CERTIFICATE ( PRINT OUT )
• PREPARE 50 PESOS FOR DRY SEAL
• BRING THE COMPETENCY ASSESSMENT RESULTS
SUMMARY (CARS)
• GO TO THE REGIONAL OFFICE OF TESDA FOR DRY
SEALING OF YOUR CERTIFICATE
WHAT TO DO WITH GAPS

• RE-ASSESSMENT WILL BE ANYTIME


OF YOUR CONVENIENCE
• RE-ASSESSMENT WILL BE ONLY IN
THE AREAS WHERE PERFORMANCE IS
