I, Daily Period Teaching Structure--Steps:

Step 1: Review—Key hard points and comments on HW from

last lesson;

Step 2: New Contents teaching: Teaching and exercising


simultaneously;
A: Teaching objective;
B: Teaching notes interpretation;
C: Class work for comprehension and consolidation;

Step 3: Summary of the contents taught in the period/s;

Step 4: HW; (Remarks: Sufficient preparation is very crucial.)


 II, Yearly Teaching Structure (A-level Math):

 Phase 1: Teaching notes ( by chapter);

 Phase 2: Typical and hard Qs with As( by chapter);

 Phase 3: Biweekly and monthly tests;

 Phase 4: A-level Math Summary (Questionnaire & key points);

 Phase 5: CIE Past papers (Last five years mainly):


 Phase 6: Revision questions of CIE textbooks:

 P1: Revision 1,2&3 + practice exam 1+2;


 P2/3: Revision 1,2&3 + practice exam 1+2 for P2

 & P3 respectively;
 S1: Revision questions + practice exam 1+2;
 M1: Revision questions + practice exam 1+2;

 Phase 7: Mock exam against the upcoming CIE;

 Phase 8: Intensive preparation before CIE


 III, Yearly Teaching Structure of FM:
 Phase 1: Teaching notes instruction;
 Phase 2: Questions (by chapter);
 Phase 3: CIE questions (by chapter);
 Phase 4: Monthly tests;
 Phase 5: Summary of key points;
 Phase 6: Past papers of CIE;
 Phase 7: Mock exam for CIE;
 Phase 8: Intensive preparation before CIE.
