Problem Statement Description
PROBLEM OVERVIEW:
Creating virtual reality based training for medical students.The need for this tool is
to train medical students in virtual reality which gives better experience in learning

CHALLENGES:
Creating 3D animated video, getting medical based information, user interface

OBJECTIVE:
Develop a tool using 3D animation to accurately provide information about the
medical procedure and help the students to learn.

COMPONENTS AND PARAMETERS
COMPONENTS:
Hardware
• VR headset
• Crontrollers(Utilize controller for interactions within the VR environment)
Software
• VR development platform
• User interface
• Design user friendly control for navigation and interaction
• Create menus and head sub displays

• Accuracy – ensure medical senarios and model accurately at present real world
situation .
Usability
• Navigation – design a seamless navigation system within VR space.
Learning objectives
• Align VR scenarios with specific learning objectives outlined in the medical
curiculam.
• Cover a range of medical skills, procedures and knowledge areas.
