When, How, and Why Eclipse is formed
◦ There is 2 types of eclipse. The solar eclipse and the lunar eclipse.
Solar eclipse happen when the moon gets away the sun’s light and
casts its shadow on earth. A solar eclipse can only take place at the
phase of new moon, when the moon passes directly between the
sun and Earth and its shadows fall upon Earth’s surface. Lunar
eclipse happens when the earth ‘s shadow blocks the moon. A solar
eclipse can only take place at the phase of new moon, when the
moon passes directly between the sun and Earth and its shadows
