Societal changes

from automation
AND ITS EFFECT ON
SOCIETY
introduction
What would happen in society if robots started to take
over jobs? Where would those people go? How would
it affect economy? And how long until people are
completely removed from the workplace? This are very
important concerns which may become a thought on
everyone’s minds in the future.Addressing them now
will help for a positive effect in the future.
What would happen in society if robots started to take over jobs?
1 The economy would receive benefits and drawacks from the integration
of robots. While many jobs will be replaced initially there will also be new
jobs in the robotics field which would require skill. This would mean we
would have to create a program to help the workers transition into their
new role. There will still be other unskilled labour jobs available after the
automation of labour
2 The people

How would it affect economy?

There will be an increase in productivity and less production costs
however at the same time there will be a larger gap between poor and rich
people making capitalism less viable for an equal society. The robots will
remove important jobs in society but at the same tijme introduce new ones
in STEM.The wealth gap could be fixed by equally distributing the
benefits of the machines by still offering the same slightly more advanced
jobs in the same factories.
4 Would robots completely replace us?
Safe to say, many jobs will not be taken over due to the simple limitations of
machines. They are unable to think like a human would limiting them in many fields
or work. Such examples could include creative arts where robots can’t think nor paint
like humans. Currently the level of AI isn’t good enough to be on a human level so
we expect many more years of job security likely hundreds.
There still will be many unskilled labour jobs available which only rquire short
training like carpenters or technicians. These will still allow the previous factory
workers to continue working in unskilled labour while earning more than they
originally did.
Summary
While concerns about robots will still be on everyone’s minds it will
not be as big of an issue as you think. Only a few parts of the industry
comprised of factory and similar jobs will be replaced. It will benefit
economy though it will decrease wealth equality but that can be
fixed. Job security will continue and many fields will remain
untouched. At the same time society will virtually remain unchanged
due to it just affecting jobs in a few select industries.
